The Arkansas Pharmacists Association (APA), founded in 1882, is the statewide professional association representing approximately 2,300 pharmacists in Arkansas. APA strives to further the professional advancement of pharmacists, advocate the value of pharmacy, and safeguard the health and well-being of every Arkansan. Its mission is to advance a professional and business environment for Arkansas pharmacists to be successful and fulfilled in serving patients.

The Arkansas Pharmacy Foundation raises funds once a year for pharmacy student scholarships. 100% of funds over and above costs go to scholarships at UAMS and Harding Colleges of Pharmacy

CE OPPORTUNITIES ----- Available Now
Oral Contraceptive Prescribing by Pharmacists - A one-hour, APA protocol training CE program and a four-hour APhA advanced training are now available. The one-hour program is a requirement for any Arkansas pharmacist who plans on prescribing oral contraceptives under the new statewide protocol.
