Why do you want to serve on the APA Board of Directors? I want to serve on the APA Board of Directors because I am a passionate advocate for the future of pharmacy, not only here in Arkansas but nationwide. I have played an active role in supporting new legislation presented at the Capitol this spring. As a chair of the APA professional affairs committee, I have been able to work with other APA members across the state to present current issues, identify solutions, and develop strategies to overcome many challenges deemed critical by our peers. I would be honored to serve on the APA Board of Directors to ensure that the future of pharmacy in Arkansas is bright.

Why do you want to serve on the APA Board of Directors?
Pharmacy is at a turning point where we have got to find ways to bill for the many professional services that we offer, not just dispensing. The APA has led the nation in advocating for change, transparency, and progress in many areas within our profession, and I would like to bring my thoughts and ideas to help our state also lead the way in billing for more patient care services.

Why do you want to serve on the APA Board of Directors? As a pharmacist since 1974, I have seen the good and the bad of our profession. In spite of all the issues facing pharmacy today, the profession has been very good to me and now I have reached a point in my career that I have the time to give back to the profession by serving on the Board of Directors.
