About APA

The Arkansas Pharmacists Association (APA) was founded in 1882 as the professional association for the profession of pharmacy in Arkansas. The APA represents over 2,400 members consisting of pharmacists, pharmacy students and members of the industry who support the objectives of the Association. In addition to the general APA membership, the organization has three academies that are focused on specific practice areas:  Healthcare System Pharmacists Academy, Compounding Academy, and the Consultant Academy.

APA is divided into five (5) Regions. Each Region has one, two or three Regional Representatives based on population who serve staggered three-year terms. These membership-elected Regional Representatives serve on the APA Board of Directors and help ensure representation from practitioners across Arkansas.
